Acest articol este despre camerele foto pliabile cu burduf din colectia mea .Constat ca sunt destul de multe. Am mai remarcat ca am citeva la care nu am identificat modelul si producatorul , estimarea datei de fabricatie am facut o dupa obiectiv . Cea mai veche din colectie este din 1904 , cea mai recenta este din 1970 .Desi la prima vedere o camera cu burduf este greu asociata cu performanta fotografica , sunt multe modele avansate tehnologic , cu shuttere performante si lentile de top.

Un scurt istoric : În noiembrie 1851, William Lewis senior și William Lewis junior din New York au primit un brevet pentru o cameră dagherotip care avea un burduf cu secțiune pătrată. In Marea Biritanie Francis Fowke (1823-1865), un arhitect irlandez , care era si capitan inginer in Corps of Royal Enginers a brevetat camera fotografică pliabilă în mai 1856, cunoscută mai târziu sub numele de camera cu burduf. Prima camera a fost construita dupa acest patent de Thomas Ottewill & Co si a fost prezentata la o expozitie tehnica in 1858 .

La ce ne foloseste burduful ? : fiind pliabil , scade dimensiunile aparatului; unde burduful culiseaza , ne ajuta sa focalizam precis ; prin reglarea lungimii burdufului putem face ca lentila sa focalizeze la o distanta minima, alta decit aceea pentru care a fost construita ; putem folosi lentile cu distanta focala mai mare.

Aparatele cu burduf sunt cu platforma de culisare sau fara (STRUT). La cele strut dimensiunile sunt mai compacte dar de regula obiectivul ramane neprotejat dupa pliere. Mai jos 3 sisteme de ghidare a burdufului, aparatele sunt Ensign , Kodak, Agfa.
Burdufurile sunt de regula de 2 feluri , tip sac cand se folosesc focale mici, pina in 5 ( cum sunt la serile Contina de la Zeiss sau Retina de la Kodak ) sau de tip acordeon , folosite in special la focale mai mari. Mai jos dau exemplu de 2 tipuri de pliere burduj , cel din stanga este de la un Goerz Taro , cel din dreapta , Nixon Trixette.

Urmatoarea camera este produsa de lhagee , firma renumita pentru slr-urile EXAKTA , este modelul Victor , cu placi de dimensiune 6,5 x 9 cm , cu burduf din piele naturala, camera fiind imbracata in piele sintetica. exemplarul detinut de mine are serialul 88571 ,probabil este printre primele fabricate.
